Stover Regular 6 HP

 Specs are:
 Stover Engine works # 16642 6 HP @ 300 RPM Bore X Stroke = 6" X 12" Built 1909 Flywheels are 42" diameter.

Engine is currently still in the U.S.A.

This is a 6 HP Stover Regular I bought from an engine collector in Washington state. It's currently still on the west coast, but with a little luck I hope get it home this year. (2004)
The engine seems to be in good condition, but it is missing the fuelpump, and a part of the mixer.

The engine has BIG flywheels. It's a half base engine, and plans are to make it a portable.

Look at that big crank throw and the heavy boxed big-end bearing. The piston pin bearing is also a boxed bronze bearing.

The original tag. engine number 16642 what makes it a late 1909 built engine.

This is what the fuel pump should look like. If there is anyone that can help me with pictures or dimensions of the pump, please let me know!

More to come..........
