Specs are:
Stover Engine works, 2 HP @ 375 RPM

This is the Stover when we got it home in August 1994.

Maybe not clearly visible in this picture, but on this side of the cylinder was a layer of welding bronze. We could only imagine what would be under it. There were 9 cranks in the water jacket, 3 from top to bottom.

After make lots of new parts for the engine such as; rocker arm, igniter, igniter trip device, fuel pump lever, and a total rebuild of the cylinder head mounting new oversized valves and new seats, we put the engine back together.

This is a picture of the finished engine block mounted on the now finished cart.

There is a full restoration report in the August 1999 issue of Gas Engine Magazine.

Since the original tag was missing we had to make a new one. Fortunately we had some experience in etching tags. It almost looks like a cast plate.
