Root&Vandervoort 6 HP
Triumph line

Made by: Root&Vander Voort Engineering Company, East Moline Illinois.
6 HP, Bore X Stroke= 5¼" X 9" serial# DL 35434, made in 1913. Flywheels are 30" in diameter.

This is where I found the R&V at a collectors place in Iowa.
The engine on the right is our 6hp, the other one is a 5? hp R&V.

The engine shared the crate with the 4 HP Monitor. The hopper of the Monitor was removed for shipping.

I think it's pretty obvious that lots of pictures will be added in the future... However the engine is now stored for awhile waiting for it's restoration.
