Alpha DeLaval 1½ HP

Specs are:
Alpha DeLaval ( Lauson Frost King Jr) 1½HP @ 475 RPM.
Bore x Stroke= 3½" x 5" sn # 23106.

This is how the Alpha looked like when we got it. It was stuck but fairly complete.

This Alpha DeLaval was actually made by John Lauson Manufacturing Company, New Holstein, Wisconsin.

Engine finished.

The only thing that was still missing, and that we were unable to find was the cast crank-guard.
In 2001 I got in contact with Joe Prindle from Wisconsin, and he cast a reproduction for me.
Thanks again Joe!! Here the (still unpainted ) is mounted to see if it would fit. It did!!
