Caterpillar 15 1929 PV3102 Engine turns freely and appears complete except for the carb and attaching parts. Manifolds look good with no major damage. Radiator core is in VERY good condition with no visible damage. This is a California tractor with very little rust. The fuel tank is not rusted thru, although interior condition is unknown. The hood is straight and other tin in good condition except for a bent seat back and welding. Missing the fenders, one engine side panel, steering clutch adjusting cover and bevel gear back cover. Steering clutches and brakes are free and work well. The undercarriage is in very good condition. Sprockets are fat and blunt, and the rails, pins and bushings show very little wear. Caterpillar D2, sn 5U9803. Early 1953, extra long "C" frame, has high rear hyd. cyl. support arms, so that this D2 can either be used for a dozer or a loader. It had the loader bucket on it when stolen. The hour meter had a little over 3000 hrs. when stolen. This D2 has some burn damage to it due to a grass fire. Of all of the folks I and the Walla Walla Sheriff have talked to, no one has had any leads to its where-abouts. But rest assured, I will not give up, nor will I roll over on this deal. I am honest when I say I will give $500.00 to learn its whereabouts or those *$@!*+-- who stold my D2 Cat. These thieves have 5 charges against them both the land owner and myself.
